Stephanie Gooding, CPsychol is offering a new Counselling service in the inspiring location of the Ecology Centre at Kinghorn. Stephanie is an experienced psychologist working with a range of problems with stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. Stephanie has a particular expertise in helping people overcome the effects of trauma and abuse. Research evidence is gathering about the benefits of using the outdoors in lowering stress and increasing wellbeing, and early evidence suggests that doing therapy in a natural setting helps people to progress more quickly, perhaps because the soothing environment allows people to think more flexibly and find solutions more easily. Sessions can be indoors at the centre with beautiful views, outdoors in the environs of the Loch, or a mix of the two as suits you.
