Science Week,
Spring term is always the busiest for the Science department since this is when we celebrate Science week. This is our chance to bring the excitement and wonder of Science to both the students and the wider school staff. We also take this opportunity to take Science out into the community via our links with local primary schools.
School Experience Programme (SEP)
We are registered for the School Experience Programme ( SEP ) with the Teaching Agency.
The SEP offers a school placement to those people who are considering teaching maths, physics, chemistry, and modern foreign languages (MFL) at secondary level and hold a 1st, 2:1 or 2:2 degree in that subject. The SEP is also available to those considering teaching these subjects and who are studying towards a degree in one of these subjects or a related subject and are currently in their final year. The duration of a School Experience Programme placement will vary from 1 day up to 10 days.
