A marching band is a group of people in which they play music while marching for entertainment or competition. In Scotland, the bands are mostly either pipe bands or orange order bands. These two groups make up most marching bands. Flutes Instruments most bands would use are Bagpipes. drums and flutes.

Most marching bands wear a uniform, often of a military style or in the case of pipe bands kilts and Highland dress.
